Ask: Can I use Super Fdisk to recover partition table or fix partition error?

Answer:
No. Super Fdisk cannot recover partition table or fix partition error. You can use Partition Table Doctor to recover partition table or fix partition error.

If you want to recover files due to deletion, format, partition lost or damage, system crash, etc. especially under. Windows Vista/2008/Windows 7, our professional data recovery software - Data Recovery Wizard is recommended. It works well with hardware RAID and hard drives, SD and Memory Cards, etc.

Ask: I worked on Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista and used NTFS file system, how can I use Super Fdisk?

Answer:

  1. Bootable floppy disk:
  2. Unzip the zip file, and run SuperFdisk.exe to install Super Fdisk on Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista. You can launch the Super Fdisk by going to: Start > Programs > PTDD Super Fdisk 1.0> Create Emergency Floppy disk of Super Fdisk 1.0 and insert an empty 1.44M floppy disk in your floppy disk drive. After "Create Emergency Disk", setup BIOS and boot from the emergency floppy disk to manage partition. For more information see here.

  4. You can download Super Fdisk 1.0, unzip the zip file and use "sdisk.iso" file to Bootable ISO image to burn CD. For more information see here.
  5. EASEUS Partition Manger
  6. You can download EASEUS Partition Manger to manage your partition in Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista/Windows 7.

Ask: Does Super Fdisk support all the hardware?

Answer:
The Super Fdisk basically supports every Hardware. However, some hardware products have inherent errors, which can become noticeable when using the Super Fdisk. For more details see Problems with Hardware.

Ask: Does Super Fdisk support all the operating systems / file systems?

Answer:
Yes, Super Fdisk functions independently on the operating or file systems! A few of the operating systems, however, have some limitations, which need to be observed when using the Super Fdisk. For more details see Problems with operating systems / file systems.

Ask: I installed Super Fdisk respectively on different operating systems. When running, is it possible that they interfere with each other?

Answer:
No. Super Fdisk functions independently on the operating or file systems! A few of the operating systems, however, have some limitations, which need to be observed when using the Super Fdisk. For more details see Problems with operating systems / file systems.

Ask: I want to find my lost partitions, could Super Fdisk help me?

Answer:
Partition Table Doctor, another product of our company could help you recover your lost partitions. If Partition Table Doctor cannot help you, we recommend that you can use file recovery software, such as free data recovery software - Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition to recover files.

Ask: One of the partitions on hard disk is marked with 'X', what does it mean?

Answer:
If boot sector of one FAT16/FAT32/NTFS partition is corrupted, it will be marked with 'X' by Super Fdisk. Partition Table Doctor, another product of our company can repair boot sector of the partition.

Ask: What's the difference between 'Delete' and 'Delete And Secure Erase'?

Answer:
Use Delete to remove a partition from a hard disk. The data in the partition will keep on residing on the hard disk, it can only be made accessible by the Undelete partition tool (e.g. Partition Table Doctor).

If you prefer to remove a partition from a hard disk and destroy all the data, you can use the Delete and Secure Erase option. Once a partition has been securely erased, it cannot be brought back by using the Undelete partition tool.

Ask: Does Super Fdisk create or format NTFS partitions?

Answer:
Currently Super Fdisk version can only create or format FAT partitions.

Ask: Cannot write to hard disk under pure MSDOS or Freedos.

Answer:
Setup BIOS, disable the 'Anti Virus' or 'Virus warning' option in 'Advanced BIOS Features'.

Ask: Size of Hard disk displayed by Super Fdisk is different from the real size of hard disk.

Answer:
You need Setup BIOS and Run 'HDD IDE AUTO DETECTION' to configure the Hard disk.

Ask: Is tech support free?

Answer:
Yes! It's free for all.

Answer:
Current updates of the Super Fdisk are (only) obtainable via the Internet. All updates are free at present!

Ask: How do I recover formatted logical drives?

Answer:
Super Fdisk cannot recover formatted partition files. We recommend that you can use professional file recovery software, such as free data recovery software - Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition to recover files.

Ask: How do I recover deleted or lost file(s) and folder(s)?

Answer:
Super Fdisk cannot recover deleted or lost files. We recommend that you use professional file recovery software, such as free data recovery software - Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition to recover deleted or lost files.

Ask: What the difference between Super Fdisk and fdisk in DOS and Windows?

Answer:
The most difference is that Super Fdisk is graphic interface while Fdisk is operated in the way of command line.

Ask: Can I use Super Fdisk to enlarge my system partition?

Answer:
No, Super Fdisk cannot resize your partition. If you want to enlarge your partition, you can use EASEUS Partition Manger to manage your partition.

Ask: Can Super Fdisk resize/move the partition?

Answer:
No, Super Fdisk doesn't include the function. EASEUS Partition Manger can help you to resize/move your partitions.
