Thanks - you guys progam Partition Table Doctor KICK BUTT! I had been screwing around for DAYs trying to manually recover 400 gigs of data off an external hard drive, none of my other utilities (acronis,getdataback etc) would work.. would've taken me 3-4 more days to manually recover individual files... bah..

But I bought Partition Table doctor just now and in 1 second it fixed my boot sector and my data's back. THANK YOU! I'll recommend you to thousands of people via the forums I'm on, and on my lists... over 11,000 .. do you have an aff program?

Hi,

I just bought PTDD via the internet, and downloaded it and restored my partition in about 5 minutes.

A few weeks ago I inadvertently deleted the partition on my hard drive...running Win X64. Fortunately I did not mess with it and just turned it off and left it.

Then I found your software via a Google search, and wonderful outcome.

Partition Table Doctor 3.5 saved me so much hassle. Other products claim to help by being able to manage partitions, or recover data. Few of the programs were actually able to see the data. Partition Magic isn't very magical if there is a problem with the partitions at all. But this program not only allowed me access to the data, but repaired the partition table.

I had created a seperate partition to try Windows Vista Beta 2 out on. I figured if anything went wrong it would be confined to that partition. WRONG!!! At first Vista only corrupted the partition table, it would still boot fine and every thing in Vista was working, but with the tools I had available, the disk manager and Partition Magic 7, I could not set the Windows XP partition as active. Actually Partition Magic just saw this full drive filled up and an error #105. Very helpful. After some searching I found EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard 3.0 that could read the data off the drive, but would save it to another drive, which would have
left me re-installing my OS, a 20 hour prospect and $99 for the program.

Then I came across another program on the same site. I was skeptical at first, but bought it anyways, money back guarantee if it doesn't work. Hey, nobody else is offering that and it's cheaper than everyone else too. I did have a fun time at first because Vista while I was playing around with it was slowly corrupting it's self. Damaging it's own partition as it ran. Firefox 1.5 and Seamonkey got corrupted so badly they wouldn't run anymore. IE was slow as molasses and part of it were not working at all, probably due to corruption. I could not even get your program out of the zip file because it was corrupting the files on the way out. Fortunately I had a fully working laptop on hand and an external drive enclosure which I have specifically for emergency
computer repairs.

I'm going to try giving EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard 3.0 another try. I have these two hard drives where the RAID drive was damaged when the RAID controller was physically damaged. I have not touched the drive, except for making the mistake of trying to re-establish the RAID, but I'm thinking your tool might just save me 200 hours of work that I had on that drive and hadn't backed up because of the size of the project. That would definitely be worth the money if it can read the files.

I was using a tool that was supposed to clear the mbr on e: and it clear it on c: wiping out a major installation. I was absolutely depressed... the old adage was that once the mbr and partition table were gone, you were toast..... I'm SOOOOOOOO glad I just did a google search and found your software. Literally a lifesaver. I have lots backed up, but it's an incredible pain to reinstall windows and update all the drivers, etc. etc. etc. etc.

The price is just right..... if you were here I'd kiss you.

I bought Partition Table Doctor online last night, and completely restored a 300 gb hard drive in less than 10 minutes.

The MBR and partition tables were so bad that Windows XP restore console could not find the Windows XP installation on the hard drive.

Hi,

I just wanted to say thank you. This program worked amazingly!!

I installed Microsoft's Vista Beta build 5270 CTP as a second OS (on the D-drive) and it deleted my E-drive which had 80GB of data on it!! I had previously installed this copy over top of my c-drive Windows installation with no problems so I was shocked not only that there was a boot error but my e-drive was not listed (except under computer management->disk management
as 100GB of "freespace").

After searching for data recovery programs and discovering that they needed to recognize the partition to even search for the missing files I began to give up hope.

I stumbled across your program which was not too expensive considering the data I had lost and pressed "Rebuild Partition Table" expecting at best to find an empty E-drive. After rebooting I was delighted to find my directories and files intact as if nothing had happened.
