As the most popular data recovery utility in the world, Partition Table Doctor recovers partition every day than any other recovery product. People write us all the time about their experiences and gratitude with Partition Table Doctor. Here is a small sample of the letters, feedback and email we receive on a regular basis.

Thank you for developing this product! (12/12/2007)

Hi,

Thank you for developing this product! My computer wouldn't boot anymore and the partition and directory seemed like it wasn't accessible. I tried other software which didn't seem to work and luckily found your web site after searching the web. I tried the demo of Partion Doctor and it seemed to find all the directories so I decided to purchase it and it recovered my partition and I was able to backup all my data and family photos. Then, after recovering Windows XP the computer is back to exactly the way it was before as if nothing happened!

Thanks again!

I have Fantastic News... (11/10/2007)

Hello, thanks for your response and questions.

I have Fantastic News, I continued to work on the problemed drive, utilizing the rebuild partition table option, as well as the rebuild MBR and fix boot options. And with some combination of those three options, I was prompted to restart the system and the drive was assigned a letter and brought back to life. I now have access to all my files that were hidden.

Partition Table Doctor - Thank you! (10/29/2007)

Wei, nimen hao.

Thankyou for this nice software - it is of course very necessary and precious software since it can keep the MBR and boot record right without messing things up, and run from right within Windows! Nimen zhen you tiancai!

Sometimes I do get a "Boot Sector Error" when I use the "Check" function. But after a few checks, it then reports: "Partition properties are right", and it is now booting fine. So I am leaving it alone, and I am not attempting to rewrite the MBR for the time being.

Well, thankyou again. Feichang ganxie!

Good product! (10/8/2007)

Thank you. In less than 10 minutes, your software recovered a deleted partition on an external hard drive so that I didn't lose the data. Very easy to use also. Good product.

Thank you for this great software! (8/8/2007)

Hi,

I have never written a testimony for any software before, but i am doing this today because i think (partition table doctor) is a very great software. I accidently swiped the jumper on my hard disk and it changed the partition table. windows could not recorgised the original partitions anymore. I tried serveral softwares, but none was helpful. some even went as far as 3 hours to scan the harddisk only to come up with nothing useful. I had "partition table doctor" and less then 5mins it scaned the hard disk, detected the original partitions, and asked my to reboot, and BINGO!! my partitions were there.

I just want to thank you for a good job done. I would always recommend your software to people in similar problem. Once again thank you for this great software, God bless you all

Partition Table Doctor (8/1/2007)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I didn't know where else to send this email, so sorry. I'm just letting you guys know how great this software (Partition Table Doctor) was for me.

I'm a musician/song writer, and I lost almost everything I've written because one of my hard drives got messed up when I was trying to resize it. Then I stupidly deleted the partition thinking it was a different hard drive that didn't have anything important on it (thank god I did a quick delete, not a secure delete). I realized about an hour later what I had really done and started panicking.

I tried re-composing what I could remember but it was no good. I downloaded probably 3 or 4 program demos but no luck. Then I found your program. From the demo, I could see the root of the missing drive, with all the right files and folders, so I knew it would work before I had to buy it. Easily worth the $40 bucks. Simple, fast, and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much it means to me to have everything there still.

Thank you for PTDD program!(5/2/2007)

You have literally saved my bacon with this excellent product.

My wife's PC main Hard disk crashed a few days ago. Not a huge problem I thought, the system backs up nightly using Retrospect and all important files are kept on the second HDD rather than the Windows disk.

How wrong I was! The backup software had stopped doing backups a number of months ago and my wife hadn't noticed so I was left with restoring from the crashed disks. I recovered a lot ot files using CHKDSK on the crashed C: but the partition on the D: was unreadable.

My wife was very upset as she had a lot of personal and work information on there that was critical for her to recover. The quote was "My whole life's on that PC, photos, passwords, the lot". No pressure then! With thoughts of sending the disks to a data recovery expert in the bac of my mind I decided to see if I could salvage anything.

Windows still was not bootable and chkdsk had revealed many bad sector areas so I bought a new HDD instead as I didn't want to either risk overwriting anything criticall reinstalling Windows. New C was installed and up and running with Windows and the old C slotted in while I got important files and settings off that. My original old D was then put in but the disk still couldn't be read. Windows could see the drive but wouldn't let me assign it a letter or restore the partition in any way.

I realised I needed some specialist software to restore the partition and so after a bit of web surfing I actually purchased a competitive product of yours Acronis Disk Director Suite. You can imagine my displeasure when having installed this wonder software, the suite would not do anything to the missing partition stating that it was "unsupported". The only positive thing it told me was that the partition was a Norton/Roxio Goback partition but would not do anything further about it.

A quick Google search later using new keywords and I found the customer testimonials pages describing the exact same problem I was facing. I purchased your software, ran it and PTDD immediately recogniged the problem with the partition and fixed it. A reboot later and everything important that I had been trying to recover (photos, mp3 files, financial records, etc) was accessable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and wallet). The best money I have ever spent on a piece of software. My only regrets are that I didn't find your software first rather than Acronis and that I didn't check that the backup software was running at regualr intervals. Lesson learned!

Thank you again.

Thank you!!(5/1/2007)

I purchased your software (Partition Doctor) today to repair my partition table. It was very easy to use and helped me in seconds to solve a problem that I had for a few months and retrieve all of my data.

God bless you!

Your slogan is right on! "Make your life easy!"

Thanks again,

PTD ROCKS!!!(4/16/2007)

I bought an expensive program (over $100), it would not even see my drive. I simply deleted the partition, it was an accident. I bought your program, it saw the drive right away, and automatically fixed it for me. My data is back where it belongs, you guys are awesome. Data recovery Gods no doubt!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR AWESOME PRODUCT!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU!(3/31/2007)

Hello,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU!! I could not believe that Partition Table Doctor was able to re-build the boot of my Seagate 400 GB hard Drive within seconds. I had backed up about 150 GB of data from my PC onto my Seagate 400GB external hard drive. Without knowing this would be a problem, I connected my Seagate external drive to my Macintosh G4 - which did not register the Seagate drive. Without my knoing it however, this action caused a boot problem and apparently reformatted the boot . When I hooked it back up to my PC, it did not recognize the Seagate drive, or my data and asked if I wanted to "reformat" the drive.

I knew that reformatting would erase everything on the drive so I went to Best Buy Geek Squad, they couldn't help me but recommended that I search online. I searched online, found a message board (metafilter) where someone mentioned spending $2000 on data recovery for his Seagate drive but recommended Partition Table Doctor because it did the same thing and costs
only $39.00!

I downloaded the trial version of Partition Table Doctor, saw that it recognized my files on the Seagate, then I purchased the full version, used Fixboot, and within ONE SECOND the boot had been repaired and EVERYTHING was fine.

I am absolutely amazed by your software and will recommend Easeus to ANYONE that asks me or has a problem with a failed drive or data recovery. Please feel free to post this testimonial on your website.

THANK YOU AGAIN.

Sincere regards,
jon

Thank You!!(3/23/2007)

Big thanks and nice job.............

I just want to say THANK YOU!!!!!(2/17/2007)

I just want to say THANK YOU!!!!! Your software save me,I almost go to hospital whit heart attack, but you save my life!!

If I ever meet whan of your programmer, buy him a beer :-))))

I will try to explain what happened, but my English is not so good:-)) I have 3 partitions,on first is installed WinXP,on second is my documents(150 GB of movies,mp3,documents from work...),and third was empty.

Then I installed on third partition Windows Wista. Wista make a boot manager,so I can choose whit OS want to boot, when computer starts..

After a while,I have formatting that partition, because Wista was not good for me,but boot manager was still here.. Then I go to Windows XP Recovery console and type "fixboot",everything seems to be ok,boot manager was gone...but my second and third partition was gone away!!

In "My Computer" was only one partition...!!

I freeze!!!

But your program save everything,I do fix partition table, and after reboot, everything was like before...My "treasure" is back:-) I hope you understand me, again big thanks!

Thank You!(2/17/2007)

I was having trouble with a drive that had a bad MBR. None of the normal repair programs would work.I found your Web Site on Google and I downloaded the Super Fdisk program. The first thing it said was my BIOS was incorrectly set. I made the changes and now everything is working just as it should.

Thanks ever so much for your program, it was a lifesaver.

PTDD V3.5 - Fixboot for Norton GoBack!(1/15/2007)

Dear Technical Support - good day! I used your product, PTDD Partition Table Doctor Version 3.5, to help me recover data from a crashed hard drive. I ran into problems but was able to overcome them eventually.

The biggest initial problem I encountered was that the crashed drive originally had Norton GoBack Version 4 running on it. Apparently, Norton GoBack somehow changes the hard disk system ID code. My drive had been formatted for NTFS (hex code 07). However, it wasn't recognized after the hard drive crashed - my BIOS and Windows XP Pro's Disk Management could "see" the drive but couldn't communicate with it. It showed no drive letter and no volume label. Another program I tried using showed the system ID code as hex code 44, which wasn't defined anywhere I was able to research. I believe that was caused by the Norton GoBack program. PTDD Partition Table Doctor V3.5 said to run the Fixboot tool on the drive. I tried that and it failed to fix the problem - the partition still had problems of some type (a red X was displayed in the partition area).

I then used the Partition Edit Properties function to reset the system ID code to NTFS. Doing that allowed me to access the drive's partition and to recover almost 100% of my data. (Norton GoBack's table of recoverable previous drive states didn't go back to a time before my hard drive crash, so I wasn't able to use Norton GoBack to "fix" my drive. It appears data related to Norton GoBack may have been the only data I wasn't able to recover, along with whatever data was related to the partition/volume label/drive letter.) I then tried running Fixboot on the drive again, and it still failed to correct the problem with the partition. Once I was certain I'd recovered everything of possible value to me, I used EASEUS Partition Manager Version 1.1 to format the partition on the crashed drive. Once I did that, the red X I'd seen displayed in Partition Table Doctor disappeared and the drive became totally functional again.

I don't know if it's possible or cost-effective to try and incorporate any fixes into your products that can deal with Norton GoBack or not. I believe I saw references to the program "Partition Magic" in the user guides for your products. Norton GoBack appears to be bundled with various versions of Norton SystemWorks, and has been for several years. (I had Norton SystemWorks 2005 installed on the drive and Norton GoBack was part of the bundle.) Since it appears Norton GoBack may stay on the market for some time yet, incorporating fixes for Norton GoBack into your products may increase their value to other users who encounter hard drive crashes and discover Norton GoBack won't help them, like I did.

I was fortunate I was able to locate your products via Google searches. I purchased my products via order ID number 1167933264-17455-563878 on January 4, 2007. I've already recommended them to some friends who were helping me with advice during my attempts to recover data from my crashed hard drive. I'll continue to recommend them to others.

Thanks and regards!

JRD
