Browse Root

The function is used to preview the folders and files in the root directory on this partition. With this function, you can confirm if the recovered partition is the one you want to fix or if the data on this partition can be recovered.

You can easily find the function button on the Toolbar, on the Partition menu.

Usually, if the partition can be previewed by Browse Root, then the partition can be recovered. Otherwise, we recommend you to try Fixboot to fix the partition.

1. You can browse the root of the specified partition in main window.

2. You can browse the root of the found partition in the "Interactive Mode" of Rebuild Partition Table.

3. You can browse the root of the partition before it is fixed in Fixboot function.
